End-to-End Material Traceability

In the automotive sector, unaccounted materials introduce unacceptable risks. Discover how Annectotech LLP tracks every single space part from raw steel mill heat numbers to final OEM dispatch, guaranteeing absolute accountability.

Securing the Raw Material

Traceability at Annectotech LLP begins long before a metal bar is loaded into our Traub machines. The integrity of high-RPM automotive parts depends entirely on the metallurgical consistency of the raw material.

We exclusively procure steel, brass, and aluminum bar stock from vetted, ISO-certified mills. Upon arrival at our Faridabad facility, every batch is quarantined. Our incoming QC team matches the physical heat numbers stamped on the raw material against the corresponding Mill Test Certificates (MTCs). Only after the chemical composition (carbon, manganese, sulfur) and mechanical properties are verified does the batch receive an internal barcode and clearance for machining.

Raw Bar Stock Material Tracking at Annectotech LLP

The 4-Stage Traceability Loop

Our digital and physical routing systems ensure that critical data follows your component through every stage of the manufacturing process.

1. Material Intake

Raw heat numbers are logged into our inventory system and assigned an internal Lot ID. Materials are stored using strict FIFO (First-In, First-Out) protocols to prevent degradation.

2. Machining Routing

As materials move to the Traub or doling lines, the Lot ID is attached to a physical routing card. This logs the machine number, operator name, and timestamp for every operation.

3. Sub-Contract Tracking

If parts require external surface treatments (like zinc plating), the internal Lot ID is legally tied to the vendor's dispatch challan, ensuring the chain of custody is never broken.

4. Dispatch & Archiving

The final Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) report consolidates all previous data. The invoice and packing slip carry a unique batch code for instant future recall.

Standardized Paper Trail

OEM procurement demands flawless paperwork. Here is how our documentation maps to your physical components.

Production Phase Critical Document Generated Data Points Captured Retention Period
Raw Material Intake Mill Test Certificate (MTC) Heat No, Chemical % 5 Years
Traub / Doling Machining SPC & Floor Routing Card Operator ID, Setup Time 3 Years
Surface Finishing Sub-Contractor COC Plating Thickness, Date 3 Years
Final OEM Delivery PDI Report & Delivery Challan Final Dimensions, Batch Code 7 Years

Sub-Tier Supplier Auditing

Traceability does not stop at our own factory doors. We hold our raw material suppliers and surface finishing partners to the exact same rigorous standards we hold ourselves through a strict verification workflow.

Approved Vendor List (AVL) Enforcement

We only procure materials from ISO-certified mills and authorized distributors. Every vendor must pass an annual Annectotech compliance audit, which evaluates their internal statistical process control and tool calibration records.

Independent NABL Testing

We do not blindly trust paperwork. We routinely extract randomized raw material samples and send them to third-party NABL-accredited laboratories to independently verify the chemical and mechanical claims on the vendor's MTC.

Secure Logistics Tracking

From the moment heavy bar stock leaves the foundry to the moment it arrives in Faridabad, transit conditions and chain of custody are monitored to prevent environmental degradation and unauthorized material substitution.

Digital Batch Logging and Component Recall System

Rapid Batch Recall Protocols

If an anomaly is detected on your vehicle assembly line months after delivery, identifying the root cause is a time-sensitive emergency. Annectotech’s traceability system is designed for high-speed reverse lookup. By providing us with the batch code stamped on the delivery box, we can instantly isolate the exact parameters of that production run.

Reverse Lookup Metrics

  • Target Data Retrieval Time < 4 Hours
  • Origin Mill Traceability 100% Guaranteed
  • Operator / Machine Mapping Fully Logged

Industry 4.0 & Digital Archives

Paper trails can be lost, damaged, or misfiled. Annectotech LLP secures your compliance and production data through a robust, digitized Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) framework.

Secure Cloud Archiving

Immutable digital storage engineered for long-term audit readiness and instant retrieval.

  • 7-Year Retention: MTCs, SPC logs, and PDI reports are archived for a minimum of seven years.
  • Encrypted Backups: Redundant server backups protect critical OEM supply chain data from loss.
  • Instant Access: OEM auditors can request and receive historical batch data within hours, not days.

Barcoded Inventory Systems

Eliminating human error through automated scanning and lot transitioning.

  • Digital Lot IDs: Raw materials receive unique barcodes immediately upon passing incoming QC.
  • Transition Scanning: Parts are scanned at every machine transition to ensure no skipped operations.
  • Automated Reconciliation: Final packaging scans match the exact quantities routed from the Traub floor.

Why Traceability Protects OEMs

A strong traceability system isn't just about paperwork—it is a critical legal and financial shield for your automotive brand.

Surgical, Targeted Recalls

If a specific heat of steel is found to be defective by the mill after manufacturing, our batch codes allow you to recall only the vehicles utilizing that exact sub-batch of components, saving you from disastrous, widespread blanket recalls.

Warranty Claim Defense

When field failures occur, you need proof of compliance. Our archived PDI reports and Material Test Certificates provide you with undeniable engineering evidence that the part was manufactured to the exact required specifications.

ISO & IATF Audit Readiness

Tier-1 automotive suppliers are subject to constant external audits. Partnering with Annectotech LLP ensures your supply chain compliance documentation is always organized, accessible, and audit-ready.

Ecological Traceability

Under the guidance of Co-Founder Gitanjali Bali, our tracking systems extend beyond finished goods to actively monitor and optimize our industrial waste.

Scrap Metal Accountability

High-volume Traub machining naturally generates swarf and offcuts. We track the volume of generated scrap per batch and ensure 100% of it is routed to certified recycling foundries, preventing illegal dumping and closing the manufacturing loop.

Coolant Lifecycle Tracking

Industrial machining fluids are strictly monitored. We trace the lifecycle of our cutting oils from procurement to internal filtration and reuse, ensuring absolutely zero toxic discharge into the Faridabad ecosystem, fully complying with HSPCB regulations.

Protecting Brand Integrity

Counterfeit automotive space parts pose a massive risk to vehicle safety and OEM reputation. By implementing rigorous batch coding and establishing an unbroken chain of custody from the raw steel mill directly to your assembly line, Annectotech LLP mathematically eliminates the possibility of grey-market or substandard materials infiltrating your supply chain.
